While the idea of a Tron parody looks interesting, I'm very concerned that this episode is going to be another "butt monkey Kyle" episode.

Is this going to be the episode that parodies the "Gingers DO Have Souls" video?
Just because you don't like something doesn't mean it's bad.
    The Cleveland Show
is Mike Henry's idea. All Seth MacFarlane did was help get it running.

It would be a wonderful thing if "abridgers" would start coming up with their own titles.

Randy's dialogue is hilarious so far. Poor Stan.

Pretty weak so far, as it's pretty much everyone taking Facebook WAY too seriously.

I liked it up until the Tron parody started. Cartman's Mad Money parody was fantastic.

Why in the world did they decide to do a Tron parody? It seems like an odd choice, since no body has talked about Tron in years.

Also, I found it strange Stan's birthday is listed as October 19, 2001 on his Facebook. That's right about the time "Osama Bin Laden Has Farty Pants" first aired in the real world.

Right... you are aware that Tron: Legacy comes out this December and the nerd community has been talking about it since Comic-Con 2008?

    Just saying lol.

    1. Because Trey and Matt are fans of the film Tron (after all, this isn't the first time they paid homage to the film).

    2. With the upcoming sequel coming out in December, this episode would probably be a good to get people interested in checking the original film out before the sequel is released.

EDIT: When it comes to Stan's birthdate, that is supposed to be Trey Parker birth date (he was actually born on October 19th) if he was a fourth grader like Stan (the character that is supposed to be his South Park avatar).

I'm glad that this episode's plots all focused on one thing: Facebooking, and the current trend of people's online lifes being more valuable then they're offline ones. I mean it's kind of obvious when you get summoned into the internet to have to do battle with your personal status because he claims to have more friends. I kind of wished we did see some Tron esque bikes, but at least Stan's comment and general disappointment was the joke, as well as him being super good on Yahtzee without even trying. Actually that's a fairly reoccuring trend with Stan: he can be really good at something if he tries, but he can be even better at something if he wants nothign to do with it. Whether that involves pretending to be psychic, or having nearly a million friends (whether it's girlfriends or dads ragging on him, or just random freaking people in the street), or playing a game he dosen't like. The best part of Stan's plot were all of his unamused statements during the ep, as well as the ending, which IMHO is probably the funniest exchange of the season so far. It's short but I don't know just Stan telling Randy to **** off is really funny.

The other plots were pretty good too. Kind of wished they actually did more with Cartman's internet buisness but hey at least it seemed fairly successful and didn't collapse on him. I kind of wonder why he was helping Kyle, but sometimes Cartman gets so in his buisness he actually lets go of his hatred. I also liked Kyle's patheticness at wanting to keep all his friends, and still befriend Kip. Unlike Stan, an underlying theme in Kyle no one points out is that Kyle has to attempt and maintain his cool rep persona while it seems far more natural for Stan. And if it wasn't for Kyle gainging over 50 pounds and getting a massivley bad hand cramp from playing online MMORPG in "Make Love Not Warcraft", his despreate crying to Stan and attempts to save his online farm on his most pathetic net expierences. Speaking of pathetic net expierences, I also did like the little subplot with Kit, on someone who values having an online friend so much he tretats it like an actual friendship, even though it's not. I thought they were going to give him a really sad ending, but I liked the twist where he got all of Stan's friend requests. Yeah no he'll be more sucked into the online world but with this kid it may be all he has anyway. So by far the best episode of the season so far. Solid plot plus no real gross out mentions (yeah we HEARD mentions of *icks, but unlike last week where there were balls all over our faces we didn't see any) and lots of comedy without them repeating one lame joke over and over makes this a very solid ep.
Instead of just using this new signature to celebrate a thousand more post, let me list of all the great things you can expect of me on this board for 2012:

Nope, was not aware of that. I only saw the movie once, way back when I was a kid, and the last time I've heard anything about it was in a Family Guy episode a few years back.

Maybe I'm just part of the wrong nerd community.

Eh, this episode didn't do much for me.

But I loved the whole ChatRoulette thing.

I really liked this episode. I hate my friends annoying me about doing friends on Facebook.

My cousin's girlfriend treated Facebook just like Wendy did...

I laughed, best episode of the season, especially Stans last line.

I didn't like it as much as last week's, but I thought it was funny anyway. I've known people who pestered me like Randy and Wendy did to Stan. And of course Kyle being pathetic enough to beg Stan to friend him was gold.

I loved the scene with the ChatRoulette. "Jacking off...jacking off...jacking off..." The part where the man they were talking to suddenly taking his pants off had me in stitches, despite the fact that I knew it was going to go that way.

As for the ending, the way that loser kid suddenly gained all of Stan's friends after he deleted the profile was strangely heartwarming.

Hee hee, the downside of having a long-running series that doesn't age its characters.

    I lol'd at that.

I kind of came in late to the episode, but it was interesting episode. I did like the take on the Tron world. Though I do say that I'm actually glad that Kip kid didn't commit suicide, especially with all the reports of suicide over stuff that has happened over the internet.

Yeah. To be honest, I actually thought he'd off himself in the end. Nice change of pace.
