  • @GRPHX According to a rumor, the reason why the Transformers: Robots in Disguise anime was dubbed was because Hasbro imported the attendant toyline from Japan. But I believe that Saban dubbed it themselves since Hasbro went uncredited. What do you think?

Saban's animes are not within my area of interest and research. Because the properties have expired. I'm only interested in the part that Disney bought.

@Vuxovich See about what @GRPHX said about syndication rights with Transformers: Robots in Disguise is expired long time ago but Disney still own dubbing. Disney would have to buy syndication rights for this show before they could apply old dubbing. It is unlikely to see this happen, tho.

If Hasbro cares about this show, so they can buy dubbing from Disney.

@GRPHX According to various rumors, the Diabolik animated series was recorded in Toronto. But I am hesitant to believe in the said rumors. Was the Diabolik animated series perhaps a non-union production voiced in LA?

What I know about the Diabolik animated series is that it is voiced by Canadian voice actors. Considering Saban, I'm guessing it's a non-union production. However, screenwriters may have some rights from the WGA. It was never released in America anyway. Even if Disney released it, I don't think they would add it to the Disney+ U.S. library.

One of the three head writers was French and the other two were Americans. There were even names such as head writer Larry Broddy, one of the episode writers of Spider-Man: TAS, and Scott Peterson, one of the episode writers of Phineas and Ferb.

I wonder what cartoons Caitlin Clark likes
Xilam is one of my most favourite animation studios, I enjoy alot of their cartoons from Hubert and Takako, Oggy and the Cockroaches and Zig and Sharko. Xilam is a studio that has inspired many and has created endless classics that we enjoy.

What's your most fond memory of Xilam?
Given how Drew Barrymore's production company Flower Films has mainly made live action projects for older audiences, them producing the TV special Olive The Other Reindeer and the Netflix preschool show Princess Power are definitely quite unusual. It would certainly explain the humor of the latter.
According to TVInsider, MTV2 will premiere Sponge on the Run movie on Sat Jul 13 at 6pm
