The good thing for Big Nate is that it's a successful daily comic strip first, and a book series, so Paramount's horribleness still doesn't mean people can't enjoy it in other forms.
Funny with the snow storm today, the local stations preempting normal programming for news made me realize if the broadcast networks had traditional kids cartoons and live-action kids shows still, in my area most of them would be airing weekdays at 9:30am and 12:30pm, instead of Saturday Morning.
Weekenders ended 20 years ago, today. That's right it ended on a leap day , 2004. I actually had thought the show ended earlier because the show was dropped from UPN and I didn't have toon Disney and know what they were doing over there.
