We don't get a ton of classics (outside of Checkered Past), but when they show up it's neat. Boomerang has improved a lot with showing vintage shows though, to a shocking degree.
I'm not sure if I could. There were only 3 cartoon cartoons back then (discounting I Am Weasel and the What a Cartoon Show), and I'm not too familiar with the kids wb shows back then.
Here's one more for old time sake. Consider this a one-off special rather than a reboot lol.
Monday-Friday:
6:00am: The Flintstones
6:30am: Apple & Onion
7:00am: The Amazing World of Gumball
Cartoonito
7:30am: Cocomelon
8:00am: Batwheels
8:15am: Mecha Builders
8:45am: Bugs Bunny Builders...
Fantasy Schedule #43 (November 14th-November 20th)
Welp. Time for CN to get some extra time for the sake of ad revenue lol.
Monday-Thursday:
6:00a - Clarence
6:30a - Craig of the Creek
7:00a - Ben 10 (Classic)
7:30a - Lego Nexo Knights
8:00a - Cocomelon (x2)
9:00a - Thomas & Friends All...
Honestly, I'd say we should enjoy the lack of KOTH spam while we can. Once Bob's leaves and 8pm more likely than not comes back we could be getting way more of the funny propane show. On top of that I could see Adult Swim ditching Futurama as well, making even more room for KOTH.
When you find out that Zaslav knows so little about the company he just merged with that he thinks the last Superman movie came out in 2009, and that the last Harry Potter movie came out in 2007.
Ok, this schedule is fine, but if Adult Swim still had the rights to Family Guy, there's no way that they'd only air it in graveyard slots every day except for Friday. Given how many viewers the show brought to the network, that'd be financial malpractice.
Late Saturday at 3am without Toonami is better than I expected. Weird that Samurai Jack isn't a part of Toonami though. But hey at least it's better than like Futurama being pushed up to 3 followed by 2 hours of KOTH at 4.
Well go figure. Around the same time that Cartoonito loses a couple of shows and Toonami loses an hour, Acme Night has seen an improvement. Their line up of movies for November is well.... actually interesting!
You know I had no idea that the episode where General Skarr showed up in Billy & Mandy came out before his series of origin ended. It aired in June while Evil Con Carne wouldn't end until October; about 4 months later. I wonder if kids at the time we're confused to see the same character play...
I'd disagree. Sure both The WB and Adult Swim are/were own by Warner, but that doesn't mean the two networks are exactly alike. It's like saying Nick Jr shows should air on Comedy Central. Many of The WB's shows were more mainstream-ish and aimed at general audiences while Adult Swim's stuff is...
Update for Conttactt and others: it looks like DVR Theater is staying past the spooky season (any schedule changes notwithstanding). Get ready for some Infomercials and Your Pretty Face is Going to Hell.
Pretty great. I have made a few observations though:
1. Why is Bob's Burgers airing in the prime-time slot for CN? Aren't your schedules supposed to depict CN and Adult Swim after they lose the rights to Bob's. Even still I would've done something like say put Clarence at 8 and Steven Universe...
Over the Garden Wall will now air on Halloween at 6:30pm, replacing the half hour of TTG! at 6:30, and Lemony Snicket's Series of Unfortunate Events at 7. It'll be the first time the miniseries will air since September of 2017.
Would be neat. I assumed that they had made PG shows already at this point, at least sometime in the past, but looking back I don't think either of them has made or aired something as edgy as Total Drama Island or Regular Show.
I'd lean towards no since it hasn't aired on the network since back in early 2011, but I think they still could, seeing as it premiered on The WB so I imagine WB Discovery still has the rights to it, at least if they hadn't tax written it off at this point. I've put it sporadically on my fantasy...
Wonderfly has a point. The November schedule only has Cartoonito, an hour of Wabbit/New Looney Tunes, and an hour of Regular Show outside of their three big shows which together take up a whopping 9 hours of the schedule.
Dexter has two episodes, and this does make it so you have a lot of shows in a shorter period of time. Some shows like PPG, Kids Next Door, and Steven Universe are also represented by half hour specials. Some exceptions I'd have would be Tom and Jerry so we could get a short from the Hannah...
