It was announced today that the 1988 Ruby Spears Superman cartoon would be coming to DVD in November. This is great news, and will be a nice addition to other DC collections already out! It aired on CBS on Saturday mornings, and featured a Superman adventure along with a 5 minute short episode...
Still Enduring Today....
I think the fact that the Superfriends are such a part of Saturday morning cartoon history is the reason they still have such a fan following. The same "kids" who grew up watching these various incarnations of the Justice League are now sharing them with THEIR kids...
Now Only One Episode...
It has been reported elsewhere on the internet that the Avengers episode that is airing on Toon Disney is only being shown because it features an appearance by Iron Man. According to the article, after September 1st, no other episodes of the Avengers have been...
According to the TV Guide website, The Avengers: United They Stand from 1999 will be showing on Toon Disney beginning Sept 1 at 11:30am. Does anyone remember this cartoon? Were there any episodes worth watching?
Science of Superman on National Geographic
After reading the posts I did a search on my cable system's guide, and the show is on the National Geographic Channel. Replays include Thursday, July 6th at 4p & 5p, then Friday 10p...there may be others as well. Check your cable listings for correct...
As I had the "Council of Doom" episodes on my DVR, I was floored when the finale of the three-parter was not shown!! The episodes rolled back over to "Origins". I am assuming that Part 3 is considered the beginning of Season 2?? I wonder if Boomerang will show Season 2 soon, or if they will...
Is it for sure the end?
I have read a few comments in this thread about Justice League Unlimited being cancelled....is that a for sure thing or speculation? I try to read the posts every so often, but not sure I have read anything that is an official cancellation notice. Sorry if I am out of...
I hope I'm wrong, BUT....
Is the return of Justice League Unlimited still planned for Feb 11th? I have seen two different program guides and it's not showing up. While it may not be heavily promoted (at least not yet), you would think that the tv guide websites would have it as a listing! If...
No New JLU through November 5th....
According to info from Cartoon Network, there are NO episodes of JLU scheduled to air through November 5th at least. The late night showings of Justice League (early Saturday mornings at 2am on CN) are scheduled to continue, and go into Season 2. Twilight...
Boomerang has Superman & Batman
I think this has been mentioned, but Boomerang is showing the "Batman: TAS" & "Superman: TAS" also every night back-to-back at 12a & 12:30a, with a Marathon in August. Episodes scheduled include "Knight Time" from Superman, and "The World's Finest" 3-part...
Info on JL Re-runs
Here is some information found a website for cable tv programmers: It does seem to indicate 90 minutes of Justice League each week, and the titles are Season 1 titles (ex: Injustice For All is listed for 8/27). A great chance for people new to JLU to see classic JL. Thanks...
Original 7
It was GREAT to see the Original 7 team up against a threat this great! There were many "WOW" moments in this one, from the Flash and the magnitude of his powers to his "near death" experience to Superman finally breaking the chain of events that happened in the Justice Lords...
JL Season 2 Gets My Vote
I must cast a vote for JL season 2! JL Season 1 had some nice moments, mostly from seeing the animated characters for the first time. JL season 2 seemed like it had a much greater intensity when it came to the characters and how they interacted with each other, and...
While I enjoy the Teen Titans cartoon, it would seem that Cartoon Network is over-exposing it. Why not plug JL/JLU into one or more of the Titans' current time slots, for those that may not have seen Season One or Two of Justice League? Especially with some of the references being made to back...
First off...GREAT to see Flash! He has been missed, and I felt he was used pretty well in this episode. Hopefully he'lll be back!! Secondly, this was not the worst show of JLU, but it wasn't the best either...Mister Miracle and Barda are good characters...I guess maybe it felt rushed...

LEAST FAVORITE MALE HERO: Dr. Fate

Did Mr. Vernon also play the part of General Thunderbolt Ross on the last incarnation of "The Hulk" cartoon? It sure sounded like him....
He made great contributions to animation and will be missed!
I look at Season 2 of JLU with a lot of anticipation. It felt like everyone involved with the show (writers, voice actors, animators) began to click and get a great feel for where they were going with the characters. I hope we have not only Season 2, but many more as well!:)
In my opinion, most of the episodes of Justice League Season #2 will be hard to beat! Starcrossed was also very well done!! JLU has improved since "Hawk & Dove", which was probably the biggest letdown. Great characters...just not used very well! It looks like the JLU is picking up...
As I am new to the posting but a long-time reader of this forum, was anyone shocked as to the (what I think) was a religious reference at the end of the episode of JLU set in the future? When John and Batman are chasing Chronos to the beginning of time, you see it is represented as a huge hand...
