A question I have about Ed, Edd n Eddy's Hanky Panky Hullabaloo

I'm not sure if this has been asked before, but, about the Ed, Edd n Eddy Valentine's Day special "Ed, Edd n Eddy's Hanky Panky Hullabaloo", was it produced before or during Season 5? I ask because the characters are in school, and it premiered after Season 4 finished airing. And knowing Season 5 wouldn't air until the fall, I feel like continuity errors were bound to ensue at the time.

I’m going to say before. For what it’s worth, the special does contain some “early installment weirdness” when it comes to school themed episodes. For example they are at a high school, and Kevin, Rolf, and Nazz aren’t in class with The Ed’s, The Kankers, and Jonny.

It was likely written while season 5 was in the development stages. It should be noted that 5 often aired out of order, resulting in the kids being in school before the introductory episode for the school.
