From the front page of AnimeSuperhero.com:
"The newly formed “Triple-I Initiative” held their first online showcase today, giving several well known (and some brand new) Indie publishers a chance to show off their latest games.
Perhaps most notably, a new “Prince of Persia” game was revealed today, but not by Ubisoft (which is definitely NOT an Indie studio). Instead, this comes from developer “Evil Empire”, best known for their acclaimed hit “Dead Cells”. Titled “The Rogue Prince of Persia”, the company revealed a trailer and a deep dive into game play, revealing this very much acts a continuation of the “Dead Cells” formula: it’s another “Roguelike” game (with procedurally generated levels and random placement of enemies).
This is not the first time Evil Empire has worked with other major publishers: Last year they collaborated with Konami for a “Dead Cells: Return to Castlevania” Expansion Pack (an add on to the main Dead Cells game). The “twist” on this new version of the “Dead Cells” format shows they are implementing more wall-running and acrobatic techniques (elements of the “Prince of Persia” franchise). The new game is set for “Early Access” release on Steam on May 14th. There’s no word yet on when it will come to other platforms."
Here’s the trailer:
