I've been kicking this around for a while, and I've finally decided to share this with you guys. What if there was a toon network that would combine the resources of Disney, Nick, & Cartoon Network? The best of those three networks from the last few years, including a few select current shows, plus a heapin' helpin' of old school classics. I call this fantasy network Toon Central.

Here's what the schedule would look like in September:

Weekdays:

6:00 AM:Jim Henson's Muppet Babies. When was the last time this aired anywhere? 1 full hour.

7:00: Rugrats
7:30: Tiny Toon Adventures
8:00: Hey, Arnold!
8:30: Ducktales
9:00: Doug
9:30: Dexter's Laboratory

10:00: Pink Panther (we'll use the mostly live-action opening & closing from 1969)
10:30: Tom & Jerry (using the made-for-CBS opening & closing)
11:00: Bugs Bunny/Road Runner Hour (from 1968!)
12:00 PM: Lunchbox Theatre. This will combine the New Scooby-Doo Movies (1972-4), Famous Classic Tales, ABC Saturday Superstar Movies (1972-4), and select toons from the ABC Afterschool Special (i.e. Sara's Summer of the Swans), giving us a wealth of material to use here.

1:00: Inspector Gadget
1:30: Heathcliff. We'll start with his 1980-2 ABC series, then go to the syndicated show.
2:00: Tale Spin
2:30: Dinosaucers
3:00: He-Man & the Masters of the Universe
3:30: She-Ra, Princess of Power
4:00: Real Ghostbusters
4:30: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
5:00: Transformers

Nice job, hobbyfan. Throw in G.I. JOE, BIONIC SIX and M*A*S*K, and I'd watch that channel regularly. :)

The idea is to rotate them into the lineup every 6 months. There are others that aren't on there, too.

The CSC Channels prior to 2017 were actually amazing. A shame it was all thrown under the bus.
Lesson learned. Never talk to anyone ever.
Somebody please give me a show that I won't ever regret watching.
Samurai Champloo, $5 on Apple TV. I know the series is 20 years old which is, like, 100 years in anime world, but definitely worth the buy!
I now genuinely want to see Steve Blum voice Kermit in something official. He is spot on.
