I would like to have a Raya and the Last Dragon series either on Disney Channel or Disney+. It has a lot of potential for world-building and I said the same for Moana a few years ago. Given Disney’s decisions to cut the Owl House it’s very unlikely they are going to do more of the creator-driven serialized lore-driven shows. So I’d like them to expand more on several of their animated features as they historically always got better treatment than their creator-driven shows which they usually abandon. In recent years they did Tangled, Big Hero 6, the Lion Guard and are planning Zootopia, Moana, And Tiana.

Similar to Amphibia and Owl House, it has a female lead Raya and she is adventurous. It could probably have a narrative similar to Avatar:TLA/Legend of Korra which also was based on Asian mythology. It could likely thrive on Disney+ as a serialized cartoon.

Sounds like an interesting idea! That is, if Disney is interested.

I am not a fan of fitting 3D character designs into 2D animation. It carries the sense of off brand entertainment, and I have consistently skipped all of Disney's adaptations in that manner. Unless it's a CGI series, ideally from WDAS, I wouldn't be interested.

I wonder what cartoons Caitlin Clark likes
Xilam is one of my most favourite animation studios, I enjoy alot of their cartoons from Hubert and Takako, Oggy and the Cockroaches and Zig and Sharko. Xilam is a studio that has inspired many and has created endless classics that we enjoy.

What's your most fond memory of Xilam?
Given how Drew Barrymore's production company Flower Films has mainly made live action projects for older audiences, them producing the TV special Olive The Other Reindeer and the Netflix preschool show Princess Power are definitely quite unusual. It would certainly explain the humor of the latter.
According to TVInsider, MTV2 will premiere Sponge on the Run movie on Sat Jul 13 at 6pm
It's such a shame that the anime with the long-pink-haired girls like Hinagiku Katsura and Bocchi are never officially dubbed into English. What do you think?
