What are the CURRENT longest running anime series in Japan that's still airing?

I don't think I would really count Yu-Gi-Oh!, since Yu-Gi-Oh!GX and Yu-Gi-Oh!5D's are merely just loose spinoffs that don't continue any storylines or character development from the main series.

Yeah, you're right, it's like the new Digimon series.

In that case, Pretty Cure should be taken off the list as well.

The only other series not on the list that I can think of currently is Blue Dragon.

There was another thread like this I think some time last year or so. Maybe earlier this year. Still the only thing that really has changed for this answer is that Dinosaur King can't be considered for it since it just ended recently in Japan.
