I did a little better than last year, but that isn't saying much:
-Brave
-Dark Knight Rises, The
-Life and Death of Colonel Blimp, The (at a theater which shows vintage films)
-Secret World of Arrietty, The
-Skyfall
-Ted

I may go see Lincoln in the few days remaining in the year, though.

What did you see in theaters?

Way too many, that's for sure.

Men In Black 3 (x2)
The Avengers (x2)
Dark Knight Rises (x2)
Brave
The Hobbit
Arrietty
Wreck-it-Ralph

Wreck-it was the most packed of them, and I didn't expect it to be that way.

Money was tight for me this year, so the only movie I saw in theaters was Wreck-It Ralph. But it was amazing, so I'd call that money well spent. :D

I saw:

Sherlock Holmes: Game of Shadows
The Secret World of Arriety
The Hunger Games
The Avengers x2
Snow White and the Huntsman
Brave
Magic Mike
The Dark Knight Rises x2

I may or may not get to either The Hobbit or Django Unchained before the New Year; if I don't see them in December, definitely in January, though. I was also surprised to see that I hadn't been to a theater since August.

Ooh, good one. I do consider Roger Livesey to have a rather unfortunate voice, but he also happens to be a great actor, and this film is proof positive.

My list consisted of:

-Beauty and the Beast 3D
-The Avengers x3
-Casablanca (Fathom Events/TCM special release)
-Singin' in the Rain (Fathom Events/TCM special release)
-Wreck-It Ralph
-Skyfall

Not that much this year, it seems.

I might also see Django Unchained before the year ends, if I'm lucky.

I saw:

The Avengers
Dark Knight Rises twice
Edit: Oh yeah, Amazing Spider-Man
Ted
Wreck-It-Ralph
Prometheus
Sinister, which I saw at a Movie Tavern while eating hamburgers. Pretty awesome.

Most of them were really good, except Prometheus, which was pretty stupid, and Sinister, which tried too hard to be scary and failed. I might be forgetting at least one.

Just the The Dark Knight Rises for me. I hate going to the movies now for a litany of reasons.

This year was my big return to the cinema. Since like 2007 I just waited till the movies came out on DVD & watched them then, but this year I decided to go back. Anywho, this year I saw:

- The Hunger Games
- The Avengers
- Men In Black 3
- Ice Age 4: Continental Drift
- Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted
- Brave
- Frankenweenie
- ParaNorman
- Hotel Transylvania
- Rise Of The Guardians

Wanted to see Ted & Skyfall but couldn't find the time unfortunately. And the reason I haven't seen Wreck-It Ralph yet is because it premieres January 4th 2013 in Uruguay.

Overall, pretty good year.

I only saw The Avengers in theaters, and that was enough for me. Well, at least I think it is, until I watch this copy of The Dark Knight Rises that I have here from Netflix.

Just a reminder, I know the thread lends itself to it but a sentence here and there would be good so we don't just get a list thread.

Oh, so I was cleaning up in my room a little, and found a ticket stub that I forgot about- Chronicle.

It really is a forgettable movie, though. Talk about peaking too soon.
