Why did Saint Seiya’s DIC dub bombed in ratings the US while their dub of Sailor Moon was a hit success in the 90s and early 2000s?

While DIC’s dub of Sailor Moon was edited back in the 90s, it was still a huge success for Toonami showing reruns of the dub after DIC dubbed it in 1997. Then they dubbed Saint Seiya which was also popular on the network, but it flopped ratings in the US miserably. So, how could DIC’s dub of Saint Seiya fizzled in ratings while their ratings for their Sailor Moon dub skyrocketed?
