Would you like to see more cartoons with variable run times on cable networks?

Cartoons on streaming services already have their running times vary per episode, but what if shows on linear TV networks such as Cartoon Network or Nickelodeon also start doing it? Especially since they're available live on streaming services as well? Do you think it could work? Especially for action shows? Like instead of being fixed on say 22 minutes, the length of each episode varies between 23 to 26 minutes?

They don't because of ad space. Inconsistency with ad times drives away advertisers. That's why you only see that type of stuff on DVDs.

On linear TV, yes, because ads and sponsorships are what pays for shows. Sponsors and ads are a necessary evil.
