Honestly, Skydance as the options went is probably the less horrible pick. (Too bad that the Redstone family, while they do want to sell, somehow are incredibly picky?)

I've seen that Zig & Sharko also airs on DeA Kids. Now that I see the site for that, there's a bunch of stuff that K2 would air that also airs on DeA Kids.

The last notable thing that K2 aired was being the first ever channel in the world (outside Canada) to air the latest TDI series. They even lost the rights to Pokémon, as those went to Boing. Frisbee is a wasteland since years.

When you think, the situation with FTA kids channels in Italy isn't that good. Rai Gulp is at the lowest point, as in some months, the Auditel for it was 0,00% (Even Rai Scuola, that is one of the less watched Rai channels would manage to rack something), Frisbee and K2 probably still stay up so...

Point taken. It could work in the Iberian region, where there never was anything CBS branded, would not work that well in place of a CBS branded channel. Also, XTRM is another AMC channel they do have in Spain... And that's quite distant from what CBS Reality airs.

They can't use AMC Crime? (Like they should have done from the beginning. Or that's exclusive for the Iberian region?)

Honestly, if Sony took Disney's part of A+E, I guess that even Get could get (pun not intended) some new stuff to air, when you think about it, the vintage A&E stuff could fit it. (Not sure how GSN would gain from that, though)

Story Television is Blaze (the A+E Networks channel) but with Weigel involved, more serious and with less scripted reality content, change my mind.

After the failure of the British truTV (that did have a AS block, it was the last home of it before E4), I guess they saw that idea as bad, I presume.

Blame Sony for POP Max and the binning of Kix, blame Narrative for the weird choice of turning Tiny Pop into a FAST channel. Weird choices all around, huh.

I see that someone that commented in the article that you linked that Corus could revive FYI as idea for fill that niche of lifestyle channels. An idea I would not oppose, but not sure if the brand could sustain the momentum?
