Not as bad as the previous Italy scheule I posted half a year ago. Many double bills but enough shows this time. Yeah, this is just a pay Cartoonito channel. Surprised of the lack of Scooby-Doo. It's one of the Boomerang shows. I believe it's on CN though.

Boom IT escaped the renaming just because Italy already has Cartoonito (and since that and Boing are joint ventures with Mediaset, here, for some reason they're missing from Sky. Like, you can get them from DTT via Sky, but they're not part of the Sky LCN. Rai Yoyo is also in the same boat, by the way)

I know. France for example had Boing which they renamed. France isn't going to let their Boomerang getting killed easily as they have a lot of shows that wouldn't have room on CN. There's Garfield, Bunnicula, Oggy, Mr Bean, Mr Magoo etc. Some of them wouldn't even fit on CN.

Makes sense. The French Boing wasn't that exciting, I think it was mainly older (?) content.
You can't close Boing in Italy, since it's more or less CN but FTA. You can't close Boing in Spain, since that's the single thing left (and it does have a CN block. I presume it will also have a Cartoonito block somewhere, since it has to cover all the bases). You could close Boing in France, because it wasn't essential.

don't worry. You still have a lot from your old boomerangarchiver channel and is more than enough. It's awesome. I can't wait to see the Boomerang Italy "Tra Pocco" compilation, especially since you may combine the recordings of @Cool_Cat with the other bumpers with the more modern stuff.

Yeah, but I would have loved to see them in Romanian, plus the bumpers for the classics that were added after 2012 (following their dubbing issues solved) are not on that video.

Somebody just emailed me this link, and what a surprise. RARE Snoopy ident from France has been found.


I'm hoping more will follow. Would love to see if Top Cat was recorded amongst any of these.
Or even the rarer ones, like Wally Gator or a complete Lippy the Lion.

Suddenly old Boomerang content goes out on Youtube. I'm surprised there are so many videos up. I appreciate it. The only thing is they should have been uploaded way earlier. But better late than never I guess. I don't even think this is half of the stuff. People are now encouraged to upload the content they still have and oh boy, there will most likely be more bumpers and promos we have never seen yet.

Somebody just emailed me this link, and what a surprise. RARE Snoopy ident from France has been found.

This Snoopy ident looks like as if it was made for Boomerang UK but went up unused due to channel's rights to "Peanuts" expired before they adopted the 2004 look.

The channel has two more videos from Boomerang France:
The first one features "Mike, Lu and Og" promo at 6:44 with right-side default loop animation (and it's not the same one as the version used on Boomerang Pan-Euro but a bit larger):

(Only issues I've had with the YouTube channel is I had to remove any comments that make no sense, or just constantly request certain uploads, which I plan to, but am busy with other things.
And someone has stolen some of the compilations and reuploaded on their channel.)
