Maybe kids are already on vacation on the 18th?
Well..the christmas special was originally supposed to air on Nickelodeon on Dec 2, but was pulled at last minute, so it's rescheduled to air, but gets moved to Nicktoons startin on Dec 18. Just proves Nick doesn't care for Bunsen anymore

There will still be a couple episodes after this.
But after Bunsen is done at end of December, doesn't Bunsen has one episode left, if #126 episode is produced?

EDIT: I realized there are 26 episodes produced in season 1, so if possible if zap2it aired half episode for Dec 28 and Dec 29, then that means two episodes are left.

I could be wrong, but unless they squeezed another one in, I figured it was 2 now since the Christmas special is now part of this.

well the futoncritic (though not yet updated) dec 28 episode production has (#124A), and dec 29 production has (#124B), meaning half episode each. We have yet to know if zap2it will air this in dec 28 and dec 29 as half episode or full episode... if it's case then possibly youre right, there may be 2 episodes left..

This reminds me of Harvey Beaks all too well, their Christmas special aired on Nick in December 2016, then it no longer aired on the channel, just like the Halloween special was to Bunsen being the last episode to air on Nick.

Seriously, I mean I do like the Nick channel and all but Butch Hartman does not deserve to work for them if that's what they are going to do to his shows. Out of his 4 shows he created for Nickelodeon, only 1 (Danny Phantom) finished it's run on Nick, not even his most popular series Fairly OddParents aired all their episodes there. Don't they realize with cable ratings falling each year it's hard to achieve "SpongeBob ratings." Their ratings are higher than what Cartoon Network is pulling for most of their shows and they don't even realize that. They're doomed to repeat these silly mistakes unless they don't learn from history.

Okay, maybe I am wrong. Not sure where I went wrong exactly, but I was just talking to @Candy Randy about this and he tells me there’s still just one episode left.

I'm late to the party, guys. :)

But, yeah, I'm a bit disappointed but not surprised that Nickelodeon is shoving Bunsen aside -- the series hasn't premiering regularly for several months and the fact that Nick hadn't promoted its Halloween episode on TV (it did had some promotion on social media, however). I really wish that Nick would've continued the Saturday morning programming block it had earlier this year; Bunsen had its highest ratings there. But it's really weird that it'll be no longer on the network despite their own ratings report for Q1 2017 that the series was a hit in two of the kids' demographics.

Well, Nicktoons UK has promoted "Bunsen Saves Christmas" which premiered over there on Dec. 8th:

@PinkiePie97 While I'm thinking that Bunsen would have a total of 26 episodes since most cartoons have this number of episodes per season, I've also started to think that there could possibly be more. Nick quietly expanded the first season, but no fixed number of episodes for the first season were ever announced. I'm kind of confused over this.

OK since no one else commented on Bunsen christmas special aired last Monday, I'll start. It was an ok episode, though I know Amanda character has treated Bunsen bad as others, so she was placed as naughty list. I do find it hilarious when she tricked Santa that she disguises as elf, and also in the end she was "gift present", that's taken when she always gets to be on naughty list. Anyway that's my talkback on the episode. I don't think I'll comment on rest of the other episodes..

Overall in general of Bunsen, not surprised how Bunsen given death Nicktoon treatment even when Nick didn't give another chance. Don't know why Nick pulled christmas special on main Nick in first place..

Nick just greenlit a new show from Butch Hartman called Bunsen is a Beast!: http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/live-feed/nickelodeon-greenlights-animated-series-oddparents-848666

"Bunsen is a Beast! centers on the adventures of Bunsen, the first beast to attend a human-grade school. On his first day, Bunsen befriends a classmate name Mikey, who comes to guide him through the ups and downs of life as a human. Bunsen also introduces Mikey to the wild and whacky world of monsters, which turns out to be a lot more fun and a lot less scary."

I'm afraid that this is this show's only season. Every time one of Nickelodeon's shows moves to one of its sister networks, it's curtains.

There is an instance were a Nicktoon was moved to Nicktoons during its first season and continued with a second season
(Pig Goat Banana Cricket). Unless of course if Bunsen was intended to be a show with one season like Planet Sheen, it is too soon to really know what is in store for Bunsen.

Although with Pig Goat Banana Cricket, the second season was announced before it moved to Nicktoons. Haven't heard anything about Bunsen being renewed. I suppose it could still happen, but it's not very likely.

Planet Sheen wasn't intended to be a one-season show. Otherwise Sheen would've returned home on the last episode.
