BTW the "reviewer embargo" for Captain Marvel is done so people are posting their reviews around so be careful if like me you want to avoid spoilers of the movie or other's thoughts before seeing it because people I know are posting on it and I'm sure people you know as well.

I think you’re largely right. Basically, most reviews seems to be saying something to the effect of “It’s good, but....”
