Episode 13: "Kaerb Ym Traeh!"

Another light episode in terms of adding to the count.

Doctor Thirteen is alluded to. I believe this is the first time he's been brought up in the series.

And with the appearance of Isis, I suppose that sets up a possible appearance of Andrea Thomas in a future episode.

More likely the Adrianna Tomaz/Isis since whoever owns Filmation owns the Andrea Thomas version.

It was about time they brought him up since he wasn't a factor in her test at all (which I thought was kind of weird).

I wonder if she knows Black Adam...

14 "Nautical Twilight"

Previously with just comic book appearances, Danuuth, Nanaue Sha'ark, and Ronal make their animated debuts in the show proper.

Brand new characters are Rodunn, Minkis, and Ondine.
-In Aquaman Vol 5 #63 (January, 2000), Rodunn first appeared and is Aquaman's head of security in his royal guard.
-In Aquaman Vol 4 #1 (December, 1991), Minkis first appeared.
-In Aquaman Vol 8 #27 (October, 2017), Ondine first appeared and was a disgraced member of the Widowhood.

First reference to Ryus Nereus who later appears.

15 "Ebb Tide"

If it is based on Aethyr, Devourer is the only new character this episode.

Voice debut of Rodunn, voiced by Roger Craig Smith.

First reference to the Widowhood and Krush.
-The Widowhood is Atlantis' most sacred organization and are composed of widows whose husbands were killed in action. They decide if a betrothed is worthy of marrying the king. First appeared in Aquaman Vol 8 #8 (December, 2016).
-Krush is an Atlantian mob boss. First appeared in Aquaman Vol 8 #25 (August, 2017)

16 "Emergency Dive"

Animated debut of Chian, who appeared in the comics, based on Lady Chian, and M'chiste, who appeared in the comics, based on Machiste. Debut of two brand new characters, Robotman and Ryus Nereus.

Orin alludes to his mother Atlanna. Wyynde alludes to being the direct descendant of Wyynde.

More Aqua characters than you can shake a tailfin at .

Also, Robotman :D!

Y'know, it's just nice to hear Roger Craig Smith again :).

4/4: I'm going to be removing Ondine and Rodunn from this season's count. They appeared in season one and are just name and a voice debuts (Rodunn only). this season. They both appeared in "Downtime." Ondine appeared at the 6:05 mark telling Vulko and Orm inside the science center that all security protocols were in place and no one was getting in or out. I believe she appears again at 12:45 after the charges are detonated and she is the one blasted by a Manta Trooper. Rodunn is at the 7:28 mark, he's the royal guard who recovers from a blast and grabs his weapon only to get stomped by Black Manta.

4/7: 17 "Leviathan Wakes"

Orin alludes to the Justice League having four Green Lanterns and two Flashes. For the latter, easy to deduce that Jay Garrick has gone back into active duty as The Flash and joined the League. The fourth GL, we shall see but an easy bet it is Kyle Rayner since they seem to be going in order in the comics. Other possibilities include Jade, Simon Baz, and Jessica Cruz.

And La'gaan becomes the third Aquaman. Well, seemed like he accepted.

If they're counting Jay as the 2nd Flash, I assumed Alan Scott would be the 4th Lantern. It's not like they ever confirmed if he was alive or dead.

Getting to be comic level of everybody sharing codenames :p.

(Also now this means they're reasoning for not having Cass or Steph use the Batgirl name because Barbara was still alive was total bull, unless it came down from corporate).

Could Forager find a love interest in Forager :)?

Kneel Before the line of Zod as Voiced By Phil Morris! He's even voicing a (I assume) teenager/young adult :D.
Voice debuts
-Kurtis Mansfield takes over as the voice of Amistad Ervin, previously voiced by Khary Payton
Probably for the best for more emotional pathos and less meme potential...
-Grayven is voiced by Dee Bradley Baker
The one Darkseid kid nobody remembers except hardcore comic geeks .
-Lor-Zod is voiced by Phil Morris
From Vandal Savage, to Marian Manhutner, to King Farady, to General Zod and his descendant .
-Jimmy Olsen is voiced by Dee Bradley Baker
This is like Tom Kenney voicing Jim Gordon in DCSHG for me :rolleyes2:.
The Flash/Jay Garrick is confirmed to be a new member of the Justice League.
I can never say no to more Jay Garrick :proud:.

I actually wonder if they'll go with Ursa or Faora for the name of Zod's wife/Lor-Zod's mother...

Oh hey, and they remember Zor-El! Kara's dad gets some love :).

I thought it was noticeable that one of them had the House of El crest o_O.

Also is Nolan North the voice for every male member of the House of El? Would he voice Zor too :rolleyes2:?

It's funny to me to see Ursa and Faora together because they're sometimes treated interchangeably :p.

We've got all the Phantom Zone regulars now...aside from Xa-Du .
