Somehow, I don't think that Disney would want to make a movie about a video game/online community that they terminated.

Problem is that Square Enix has said that they weren't interested in doing anything with Kingdom Hearts beyond the games.

Hey, Disney. It's been 100 years, and you still haven't made a Mickey Mouse feature film. That'd be something different that you could try.
I was kinda half kidding with that suggestion, I don't know if Disney will get into the video game adaptation business, but I do know they try to get onto bandwagons, Black Hole was Disney's attempt to copy Star Wars in the 70s.

There is a silver lining in this in that if there wasn't any contest, everything was a hit and it was just Disney competing against themselves for the highest box office there wouldn't be many reasons to innovate.

While Disney isn't technically a monopoly they did have many of the highest grossing films of all time and I wouldn't want one company to dominate the box office by default. Especially when there's just lots of remakes and reboots and old franchises being ran into the ground. It would look attractive just to copy that business model.

I wouldn't deny there are diamonds in the rough and okay decent stuff that just gets hammered amid the chaos. Elemental was an entertaining movie but I think that it got swamped by their poor distribution model and habits of putting things on Disney+.

I wonder what cartoons Caitlin Clark likes
Xilam is one of my most favourite animation studios, I enjoy alot of their cartoons from Hubert and Takako, Oggy and the Cockroaches and Zig and Sharko. Xilam is a studio that has inspired many and has created endless classics that we enjoy.

What's your most fond memory of Xilam?
Given how Drew Barrymore's production company Flower Films has mainly made live action projects for older audiences, them producing the TV special Olive The Other Reindeer and the Netflix preschool show Princess Power are definitely quite unusual. It would certainly explain the humor of the latter.
According to TVInsider, MTV2 will premiere Sponge on the Run movie on Sat Jul 13 at 6pm
It's such a shame that the anime with the long-pink-haired girls like Hinagiku Katsura and Bocchi are never officially dubbed into English. What do you think?
