Unlike most cartoons, Histeria! could (according to Ruegger) count Peggy Charren among its fans.

Well, that's pretty wild. I'm pretty sure every Censor Lady that has appeared in one of his shows, including Lydia, was based on her.

Understandable why, considering it was an educational show.

On the subject, I really enjoy the 2 main SNL cast members that were hired for this show: Nora Dunn (as Lydia) and the wonderful Laraine Newman (as Miss Information, Charity, Joan of Arc etc.).
