Well the few seconds of actual animation which may not be part of the movie were not that impressive.

I'll reserve my opinion on this till later, but I doubt that SBSP will be a good movie.

Woah.

The animation doesn't look that cinematic, but everything else does.

And of course, they don't reveal a damn clue on what the plot's gonna be.

LOL. I was totally giggling over that. I'm personally glad they didn't reveal too much yet, t'would spoil the fun. :D

Um, did one of those guys use the word "hell?" Hmm, I guess it's okay considering how many college students like Spongebob.

LOL!

Yep, they did have "What the hell is it?" and "Mother of God", but that was probably to trick people in theaters into thinking that it was a live-action millitary movie trailer, or something, hehe.

Man, I cannot wait to see that!

Same actors, I think.

James Earl Jones was in Red October.

If it wasn't from the movie, it was an incredible simulation.

I think it was just direct clips though.

yeah, that teaser was awsome. Some U-571 and Red October clips made it that more Spongebobish. How come all Nicktoon movies have different animation then their TV counterparts. IMO i think the movies would look better if they looked the way the show does on TV. Hopefully this will be the first decent Nicktoon movie (though I found Jimmy Neutron funny in some places)

Pretty funny teaser. Seeing that I am a fan (hence the name) I'll be seeing this. And as always, teasers are usually made so people know that there will be a movie, not always giving a plot.

I think this coming year is going to be big for animation at the box office.

The Jimmy Neutron movie rocked! It had some of the best writing I'd ever seen. Everyone in the theater I went to was cracking up every five minutes. The movie was way better than the series is, IMO.

I can't wait to see this one. I'm not the biggest fan of the series, but I still like it, and I'd like to see Squidward's role in this movie. :D

What do you mean? What other animated movies are coming out? I can think of a lot of live action movies that are going to be big.

Along with Spongebob:

Fairly Oddparents (Maybe 2004)
Shrek 2
Home on the Range
Yu-Gi-Oh!
Shark Tale
The Incredibles
The Polar Express
Teacher's Pet

Half of those might make it big (Incredibles, Shrek 2 definately)

Shrek 2- Yup, will be big
Home on the Range- interesting
Yu-Gi-Oh!-will probably do like an early pokemon movie
Shark Tale- I've never heard of this
The Incredibles-pixar. should be big.
The Polar Express-never heard of this either
Teacher's Pet->.> Do people like teacher's pet?
So yeah, about half. Hopefully these won't be against definite hits like Spider-Man 2, or Harry Potter 3, or maybe even Scooby Doo 2.
But for the sponge, I don't really have any idea how it'll do. A lot of people like him, but there are many who don't. I'm surprised no one in this thread has had a negative comment.

Somebody please give me a show that I won't ever regret watching.
Samurai Champloo, $5 on Apple TV. I know the series is 20 years old which is, like, 100 years in anime world, but definitely worth the buy!
I now genuinely want to see Steve Blum voice Kermit in something official. He is spot on.

I just saw this on Reddit and instantly thought of you. ;)

Least favourite cartoon?

For me it's Poochini, I dislike the torment that Poochini goes through most of the time.
