5/4: Will continue filming without showrunners who are members of the WGA. Season 2 has 19 more days of filming to go.

6/6: Season 2 filming has wrapped.

8/14: Rumor is a battle between Elves of Eregion and Orc forces commanded by Adar will span two episodes with Elrond (Robert Aramayo) and Arondir (Ismael Cruz Córdova) taking on Adar.

So the elephant in the room; the first season didn't exactly set the world on fire, or at the very least it didn't keep the world on fire. So what are they going to do to get people interested? And what are they going to do to keep them interested? I don't think "more of the same" is going to cut it.
