A video of 28 minutes about the history of Grosse Pointe, Michigan.
This documentary depicts the significant changes in the community as it changed from a Native American hunting ground to a quiet European colonial farming village and exclusive summer resort. Antique photographs, nineteenth century illustrations, memorabilia, and anecdotes of the time are combined with live action sequences, which feature the retelling of local legends. Narrator: Joe Weaver Producer: Kimberly Conely Script: Kimberly Conely and Jean Dodenhoff
