It's getting close to the end of the year so it's time to report in. What movies did you see in theaters this year?
I did much better than last year for obvious reasons, but also there were more movies that I wanted to see. Should be noted that some of these were also on streaming at the same time but I decided to see them on the big screen just to get out of the house.
New Movies:
-Being the Ricardos
-Cruella
-Encanto
-Godzilla vs. King Kong
-Mortal Kombat
-No Time to Die
-Raya and the Last Dragon
Vintage Movies:
-Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade
-Trafic
Favorites of the new movies were probably Being the Ricardos, Cruella, and Raya and the Last Dragon. Honorable mention to No Time to Die, although in retrospect it's probably my least favorite of the Craig pentalogy.
Vintage-wise, both were good- Trafic wasn't quite as ambitious as Playtime from the same director (and, like Playtime, it ran out of steam before the end) but it was still amusing. And goes without saying that Last Crusade was a lot of fun on the big screen. It was a packed house- no small feat for an older movie.
You?
