Why is Discovery Family/The Hub no longer doing original animated programming?

It is a prison to a lot of Hasbro's content that isn't anywhere on streaming. There's a bunch of shows that once aired there, implying that the network's owner still owns the broadcasting rights and won't let them be available outside of it despite them not airing there anymore, such as Family Game Night, Scrabble Showdown, The Game of Life, Blazing Team: Masters of Yo Kwon Do, Hanazuki: Full of Treasures, Littlest Pet Shop: A World of Our Own, Transformers: Rescue Bots Academy, and My Little Pony: Pony Life.
Again, Littlest Pet Shop A World of Our Own is on iTunes here: Littlest Pet Shop: A World of Our Own - Apple TV

Amazon Prime has Blazing Team Masters of Yo Kwan Do here: Amazon.com

Philo has some of Hanazuki here: Watch Hanazuki Streaming Online on Philo (Free Trial)

Transformers Rescue Bots Academy is on iTunes and Philo: Transformers Rescue Bots Academy - Apple TV and Watch Transformers Rescue Bots Academy Streaming Online on Philo (Free Trial)

Pony Life is on Google Play and Amazon Prime Video: https://www.youtube.com/show/SC9kbESWnYNzjUNpDdJCT6UQ?season=200&sbp=CgMyMDA%3D and
The game shows are the exception but let's be honest, do you really think the Hasbro game shows would've gotten any home media or streaming releases even if Discovery Family wasn't associating with Hasbro? After all, game shows in general never get home media or streaming releases so I doubt it'll ever change even after Hasbro leaves Discovery Family in March 2025.

Still, MLP and the other Hasbro shows are already on Netflix and are available on Google Play, iTunes, KiDoodle TV, DVD, and YouTube. It's not like airing on Discovery Family is stopping the Hasbro cartoons from airing on other platforms right now so it isn't some kind of prison like he claims.
There are some people want Hasbro shows to air on basic cable or broadcast TV like Nickelodeon or MeTV Toons for example.

If someone revive Qubo or KidsClick, so Hasbro shows can be air on those networks.

Some want to be on FAST as well.

nickelodeon is a likely candidate because nick is owned by paramount and since paramount is known for its partnership with hasbro for the transformers movies

Everything on Philo is just VOD content from Discovery Family, and the rest are all just "available to buy" (not stream) options. A lot of shows have way more options than just those things.

So, which streaming services should Hasbro put their shows on if Amazon and iTunes aren't cutting it?

Transformers Prime is also on Netflix like MLP ( Watch Transformers Prime | Netflix ), so clearly being on Discovery Family isn't stopping Hasbro from putting shows on other streaming services. If those shows you mentioned aren't getting more outside of Amazon and iTunes, that's definitely more on Hasbro than Discovery Family and will probably stay that way for a while even after March 2025.

Besides, Netflix, Disney Plus, and Paramount Plus have expensive subscriptions. How is paying for a subscription for streaming any better or worse than buying episodes from Amazon and iTunes?

And don't Nickelodeon and Disney also have lots of content that they don't put on their streaming sites either? It isn't just Hasbro cartoons and not exclusive to them. I doubt Hasbro would immediately just put these shows on Netflix magically after March 2025. After all, is there even a demand for Blazing Team: Masters of Yo Kwon Do given no one seems to talk about the show.
