I would consider it more of an anthology. Is ToonHeads considered as documentary show to explain the history about how to make cartoon?
I’m not a nihilistic guy at all. I’m an optimistic guy. Sometimes, I could be wrong about the current situation at CN and I would love for CN to get back up its feet again, but an optimistic guy in me is not going to deny the the reality.Well, unlike you, I’m not a nihilist.
I think its more of a combinations of a lot of different factors rather than just YouTube.and its all youTube fault,
Yeah, that’s what they should’ve done, but no….The obvious solution to all these would be to just shift Cartoon Network's demographics into being adults, just like Me TV but with the added luxury of being able to comission new shorts.
I mean, who knows? The new Cartoon Cartoons shorts has not been released to public yet, but anything’s possible.Shows I meant shows... but now that I think about it a new shorts program could do wonders for CN.
There are far too many other factors involved to put all of the blame solely on one platform.and its all youTube fault, thanks to the kids who watching elsagate, cosmodore & edp445!
Yeah, I agree. We’ve been through worse lol2007-2010 was dark and we got past that, so...
True. I might give Stuart Synder way too credit, but as much as I don’t like CN Real at all, but at least they tried to attempt to do something new. Yeah, it wasn’t that good by any stretch of the imagination, but at least you can say it was something.IDK, at least stuff was actually coming out during the CN Real era
CP has now finally aired the EE&E ep: I Am Curious Ed/No Speak Da Ed!Also one other thing to note is they keep scheduling “I Am Curious Ed”/“No Speak Da Ed” and pulling it. It happened again on May 6, when Ed Edd n Eddy returned to Monday-Thursday rotation. They have now looped back to season one this week, so it won’t have another chance to air for months. With other shows that skip episodes like Dexter’s Lab, they simply don’t schedule the missing episodes. It may be a content issue preventing it from airing, since one segment of the episode involves where babies come from. The title is a reference to “I Am Curious Yellow” which is an infamous 60s porn film which was initially banned and then subject to an important Supreme Court decision ruling it not obscene. Though it is very strange to think an episode that premiered on CN in the city era can’t air on AS, they may be trying to avoid controversy by not airing it.
they NEED more variety before it's TOO late! or at least bring courage back! since B&M was gone temporarily & was eventually brought back to the block! at least dexter's taking a break from the block after being aired since the block's launch & they need to keep SJ since it's new to the block!Yep. Checkered Past is dying.
Interesting theory. I previously theorized that Toonami Rewind is meant to test the waters for not a weekday Toonami Rewind, but a weekday standard Toonami (though with the rewind shows intact, at least until further notice). I could even see it expand to 7 PM, with Superman following the Rewind block. New stuff would air Fridays outside of the Saturday Midnight Run, and the new weekday block would focus on more PG shows while Midnight Run would continue its more mature focus.I wonder if they are trying to make Checkered Past tank so they feel more justified in having Toonami take it over.
