Previously on One Piece: The Straw Hats meet a little big girl.

Neo Navy. That's two letters away from another highly disreputable group.

Iron body? Dude, he already beat CP9.

Sanji's got propeller legs.

"This just keeps getting more and more complicated."
Jeez, even the show is criticizing itself.

It's the thrust up stream, which is completely different from the knock up stream!

Splinter groups. I hate splinter groups.

Have some respect for the dead.

I don't like that it's called the "Knock-Up Stream."

Hey, it does exactly what it advertises. It knocks people up......into the sky.

Navy vs. Navy. With luck, maybe they'll kill each other.

"Glad you're okay. Can you make me some dinner?"

Are a lot of people on this show fifty feet tall?

"It'll probably kill me, but sure I'll make you some food."

Well, we still have another episode, so don't count your chickens just yet.

Seems this show is rather critical of its country's past military practices. Good for it.

Eh, it's okay. This is One Piece so none of them are really dead.

A bazooka that ate a fruit. Yes, you heard that right.

Well, that's a brutal way to defeat him.

And a little something for the vore fans.

And now she's wearing Luffy like a suit......my brain.

This has gotta be the strangest way Luffy has ever defeated someone.

Yeah, but you'll have to deal with promotions and new hires, and that is so much paperwork.

"Oh, I'm sorry, was that directed at me?"

And the alpaca shoots him in the back while the referee's distracted.

Oh, relax. It's only filler.

WAFER-THIN MINT NO JUTSU~!

...well. Don't see that every day.

"I'm so much bigger than you guys now! ...oh wait, what about--"
*peeks down front of pants*
"Aww, man!"

"Careful, Luffy, that's a lot of hot air!"
Even for this show!

And down goes Shuzo.

I guess they decided to spare us the mechanics of how Lily got out of Luffy's body.

"I'm a canon character in a filler arc. Of course I'm not dead."

Epic silent montage!

Bye Lily! We'll remember you like you were a filler character!

Oh, but Shuzo was just practice. Now Luffy's gotta deal with Z himself.

And that's it for this filler arc. Now go watch the movie and we'll be back to canon next week.

I see, so from what I understand, the movie's plot is different from this arc right? This is not a retelling like they did in Dragon Ball Super or Demon Slayer?

Yeah, the movie's plot is totally different. This arc just ties into.

One Piece likes doing that now for it's big movies. In the current anime in Japan they just did that for the most current OP movie... not saying even the title of the movie as that could be considered a spoiler but it's a way of doing a little filler that yeah like the films themselves aren't technically canon to the series. I believe the character and relationships in the past are canon to the story (like Shiki the main villain of Strong World was a character mentioned in the manga and Zed's past is also canon to the manga) but these arcs and films aren't. Still OP though not having super great filler has decent filler usually because it's either unobtrusive or like fairly short. I think the longest filler arc still is... 14 episodes which sounds like a lot but considering Bleach had a 40 something long filler arc story and Naruto had like 85 filler episodes in a row that's nothing.

Yeah, I still can't believe that was a thing.
Paramount and Skydance have officially merged. Does this mean that Brian Robbins got the boot?
Season 6 of Total Drama (production code-wise), Pahkitew Island, made its American debut a decade ago.

It's my favorite season of the show (behind all 3 of Total Dramarama's) and has the best cast of the series, which includes the 2 best characters of the franchise, Leonard and Max (who should've been the finalists).

Happy 10 year anniversary to The 7D.
