Cartoonito CEE Schedule and Highlights for April 2024

- New episodes of Alice & Lewis (S2.2) premiere starting from 8th April. They will air daily at 15:30 CET, with reruns at 18:00 CET and on the following day at 10:30 CET. The final episodes of season 2 will air on this batch, all until 20th April.
- Also from the 8th of the month, a new series of minisodes will be introduced. Squirm & Manny, which are based on the TV series Moley, will be spread out daily at 14:50 CET (with few reruns on the same or following day at inconsistent slots). New minisode will be shown until 20th April. Oh yeah, it's gonna be these they will air.
- The "Let's Hug Teddy" marathon of Mr. Bean will go on airing on the first week of April, until the 7th (from 06:00 till 10:00 CET everyday).
- Another marathon block will kick off from the 15th of April. "We Love Tom and Jerry" will start and air daily from 07:00 till 09:00 CET, for two hours. It will have two slots of The Tom and Jerry Show, followed by a T&J movie (from the same reduced selection they've been airing already for a long time) and one Singapore short. From 21st until 26th, only episodes of The Tom and Jerry Show will be on the marathon.

(Other) schedule highlights:
- Lu & The Bally Bunch is gone from the schedule. From 1st April, it will be replaced by Baby Looney Tunes at 10:00 and 15:00 CET while Alice & Lewis will air instead of it at 18:00 CET. The minisodes of the show, meanwhile, will remain airing at random and inconsistent timeslots.
- Alice & Lewis will also air, from 1st April, at 10:30 and 15:30 CET replacing Baby Looney Tunes' initial showings, thus the latter moving up its two slots replaced. BLT will also get a new airing at 19:30 CET, replacing Batwheels.
- The Tom and Jerry Singapore series will lose its initial 15:20 CET premiere slot, but will get new showings at 09:45 CET (from the 8th), 08:54 CET (from the 15th, as part of the new T&J marathon), plus two nighttime airings at 01:50 and 03:50 CET (which will alternate with other minisodes series, practically like any so other).
- Night schedule change: Mush-Mush and The Mushables returns, after almost an year (for the first time airing since the switch to Cartoonito 24/7). It willl have a double bill airing at 01:00 CET, replacing Mighty Mike. The latter will remain airing in its 05:00 CET hour slot.

One series that hasn't aired on a WBD CEE channel for some time is always very welcomed, even if airing only at such timeslots. But still, Cartoonito CEE has A LOT to improve when it comes to their schedule. Oh, have I mentioned how Mighty Mike also does NOT qualify in the standards of a preschool show at all? It's there along with the other 3 cartoons airing here that I kept bragging about till now.

Regarding the minisodes and shorts aired after or before a show, they are all such chaotically put in the schedule and air soo random, that I sometimes think of just mentioning them as "Minisodes" and nothing more. They make my schedules look sooo horrid.

As to the schedule changes, there is more to that now. Due to Lucas the Spider being brought back, there are some slots that moved all over the schedule now:


06:00 Batwheels (starting April 15th)
(Mr. Bean: TAS at 06:30 still remains)
10:00 Lucas the Spider (starting April 1st)
12:30 Baby Looney Tunes (starting April 1st)

Yesterday I received also the updated schedule files myself. Regarding the Squirm and Manny shorts, I see now only two will be aired, in just two days, with no other reruns or additional airings.
