Well we have another marathon on the way and Suite Life on Deck's 10 episode run on TD might be rolling in ratings as well. Coming up: Hannah Montana with a full month marathon only on Disney XD!

It's not that I'm upset that live-action did well. That doesn't bother me much at all.

It's just that it's THAT piece of no-worth, no-talent dreck that pulled in all those viewers.

I wouldn't count on it. Disney XD is going to be aimed at boys. Hannah Montana is a series that has always done with with girls, which is what Disney is now aiming at and why Suite Life, which gets abut 50/50, and Phineas and Ferb, which gets more boys, are two of the headline shows for XD.

They already have Disney Channel for girls. If XD ends up attracting a bunch of girls too, it's safe to say that the company is screwed, and has no chance of getting the male demographic.

Yeah but that'a only when or if XD fails at what Disney intends for it. They want it to target the male audence regular Disney keeps airling to bring in. At least for a while it will be boy orented and only if that fails will they bring in the likes of HM to boost ratings.

The thing is I hope that Disney realizes that they're alienating a lot of people with the new channel. If it fails, it should be a lesson to not create channels just because one sex doesn't like watching shows/movies directed towards another.

Well they tried to make Disney for both sexes but could never get a decent sized male audence. That is what pushed them to make Disney XD, their failed attepts at trying to draw boys to Disney Channel.

Yeah I think it's a dumb idea and they really should not have two channels like that but well what can we do.
