"Green Lantern: Beware My Power" Animated Release Talkback (Spoilers)

Hall of Justice podcast interview with Altbacker. The last draft turned in played it more open ended with Hal, he was to be swept away by a Zeta Beam after being shot by Arrow.

I kind of would've rather his fate been left more ambiguous before they went full Parallax, but...

 

[Classic Speedy]

Normally I like the DC animated movies, even the ones that people seem to dislike, but I couldn't get into this one. There was something really flat about the way John Stewart was portrayed here, and his becoming Green Lantern felt rushed and didn't seem to phase him that much. The movie started promisingly, with PTSD flashbacks to John's military time, but that's not really followed up on. Also, too many characters that I got lost.

Space looked beautiful, though, with its varied hues.
