  • Hi there. I'm glad that you had a nice time with your friend. I don't really like Star Wars, but I haven't seen much of the movies either. I've only seen part of Return of the Jedi and Episode I in theaters since I didn't want to look like I was afraid of watching it with my older brother. I do remember being bored during most of that prequel until the fight near the end. As for Yu-Gi-Oh!, I doubt that they're going to air both DM and Zexal on Nicktoons mainly because we haven't heard anything about the former airing on the channel for awhile. Konami probably wanted them to go with Zexal instead. It is bad, but promoting the newest batch of cards comes before everything else and that does make sense from a business standpoint. I apologize for getting my inbox full yet again. I need to keep a better eye on that, but it should be all fixed up now.

Thank you. I still don't have that much of a problem with the censors on the CW, but with DBZ Kai, the uncut editions are widely available, so I don't see much of a reason to complain about it either. Some of the edits can be kind of weird. I wouldn't mind if they could get more anime titles from Funimation that could fit on Saturday mornings. I'm not sure what else they would want to put on the CW, but I wouldn't be against it from happening.

I'm perfectly fine with that nickname. I think that it's kind of sweet. You're welcome to keep calling me Lady Lucario if you like. As for the Digimon Tamers DVDs, I'll probably get the set eventually. I should try picking up the other two series sets too, but since I'll be trying to save up my money for Pokemon X/Y, I'll probably either just get one or save the Tamers DVD set for a Christmas gift. I like the dub, even though I haven't seen it in years to see how well it holds up. Tamers is actually subbed on Hulu and I watched it subbed for the first time a couple of years ago. While including the subs with the DVDs would be pretty cool, I'd be fine with just keeping them legally available online.

Hi aegisrawks. I don't think that it's impossible to have well written female characters either. I'm not sure if writers think that they can't write women, but it is kind of difficult. A lot of female characters tend to be written as women first instead of a person. There are also tends to be a greater focus on female issues with female characters than there are for male characters dealing with what issues relate specifically to made. Some female characters are also primarily used as motivation for male characters to take action, often in the form of being love interests. Trying to focus more on a female character being a person, rather than just a woman, and then bringing in female issues that could apply to them, depending on what kind of story is being written can help make them more well developed characters. With American animated series, Korra is probably the best written female lead in a long time. Most of the cast from Madoka Magica are also really well written characters.

I'm doing fine thank you. I'm glad that you're doing well too. It's okay. Sometimes the topic of anime on Cartoon Network can drive the discussion to go a bit off-track. Digimon is big franchise, but just not a super popular/successful one in my opinion. I'm quite happy to see that it is going to air on Nickelodeon, instead of Nicktoons, and hopefully it can be successful there. I haven't seen Monster Rancher in ages, so I'm not sure if I have a favorite episode. I liked the Tiger vs. Gray Wolf episode and the battle against Moo was good too. I think that the series is up on Hulu, so I may watch that for a fun nostalgia trip, along with actually seeing the last season of the series since I don't think that aired in the U.S.

Sorry that my inbox was full again, so I didn't get your message, but I fixed it up again.
