 Must pre-order now! I'm terribly excited about this. Can't wait. Glad to see the lost episode is in there, since it's been ages since I've seen it (and only seen it once). It...was interesting.
Wow, hard to choose again. All great stuff. Sheep in the Big City may have been short, but it's pretty much the first show in which I was entertained by what is being said than was is shown. Gave me a new perspective on shows. Samurai Jack was pretty good in the action department, even though I...
Powerpuff Girls Complete Series Set Coming January 20, 2009
As mentioned months ago, The Powerpuff Girls season sets were scrapped in favor of one complete series release. The DVD set will be released on January 20, 2009 and will include a documentary on the creator Craig McCracken, audio...
Don't know if it's in my place to update, but Cartoon Network Australia is set to premiere Powerpuff Girls Z on Wednesdday, July 16, 2008 at 4:00PM after a marathon of the original show and Cartoon Network Latin America on August 2...
It has been found out that the pre-production subbing staff is situated in Singapore. Now it's really up in the air whether this is what we're going to get or not. I'm willing to say it's not.
No. According to an article I read yesterday, CN plans to do a year-long celebration for the girls' ten-year anniversary. If it becomes popular, then we could probably see some more.
Not anything terribly exciting, but I am very interested what comes out of this Cartoonstitute. Plenty of creative minds out there ready for the picking.
[slaps forehead] Got me all excited there.
Be patient. It'll be out when it's ready.
EDIT: Could this be what you're looking for (or similar)?

Is it weird that when I went to FYE just now to get a friend a gift card that Samurai Jack DVDs were on the front display? MUST SEE!!! [still doesn't curb the current obsession of another show]
I agree. Of course, I had no idea what it was when I was young, but now that I'm older and more experienced...:anime:
Must get the rest of the series and see what else I didn't notice the first time around.
No one said it was a bad thing. Personally, I would like it to be as close to the original as possible without seeming too awkward.
Well, they might compare it, but it'd be bad to compare too much. If they constantly say "This is nothing like the original, so I don't like it", they're obviously...
Well, it translated the same way with the DS games. Bandai Namco pretty just took Mario Party and added one or two things...and that's it. Worst game I ever played and the fact that it's the most expensive game I got doesn't help.
However, about the original fans, it will be interesting to see...
I've heard good things about this...but I can't watch because I just happen to have work on Sundays.
EDIT: Oh, wait. That's during spring break. Never mind. But that's during a Brawl tournament I'm participating in.:sad:
Just one more comment before I put this topic to rest. Just because a show is released somewhere else, you can't expect it to come by right away. They have to see if it gathers enough interest to try in other locations. Take, for example, Ojamajo Doremi. Premiered in Japan in 1999. Did not air...
I'm just saying it's a small chance of it being on TV. If not, definitely getting on DVD.
Never said that PPGZ > PPG. That' a problem with the series. The show will spark some interest in the beginning but it is very weak to garner a lot of interest. Which is a shame since the second half is a...
My speculation for the upfront:
- PPGZ xoming to Americal late 2008 on primetime slot; fan outrage inevitable (just so you know, I like the show a lot)
- Keroro Gunsou NOT picked up by Cartoon Network
- Release dates for EEE movie and Fusion Fall
- Everything else falls into the "I don't care"...
I finally got around to finishing watching the extras on the PPG Season 1 DVD (again), and once again, I regret not seeing more of Space Ghost. Probably because I was too young to understand it all.
The promos were also nice to see into the past. But alas, those days are pretty much over...
