Any main characters that you just hate?

I was sitting around the other day watching YGO GX and I was like man I hate Jadden for some reason, I guess it was because he acts like he's gay and he doesn't respect the things given to him. Plus ther are some more main characters I hate.

I would disagree, Jaden is cool, but I dislike Syris, he's so whimpy and never believes in himself. That's the kind of person you want to smack in the face so he'd come to his senses.

I hate Jake from American Dragon Jake Long. At first I thought this series would be a nice fit in the pantheon of seemingly-normal-kid-gets/has-powers show, a genre I particularly like. Unfortunately, they ruined it by making Jake one of the most annoying protagonists EVER. His brazen overconfident attitude and constant use of hip-hop slang ruins everything about that show. I know it's set in New York City, and it's supposedly the 'hip' thing to be hip-hop, but not in a cartoon. It comes off as cheesy and stupid.

Dude you hate the same characters that I do, Jadden doesn't relize that Alexis is like totaly in love with him, Ash he left misty all by herself without telling her he loves her when he knows he does, no he got to women whose in love with him.

I have to agree with you. The problem is that it's all so badly done. Cheap-looking animation, the dog is NOT funny in the least, and the slang terms used by Jake and the black girl are so contrived it hurts. I like the design of Jake the dragon, and that's about it. Too bad; as you indicate it could have been good.

Mother of cake, do I ever agree with you! Given that its writers and director (if you read this, Chris, I'm very sorry) were veterans of "Fillmore", I wanted so much to like the show, but Jake (as well as a number of other problems) handily thwarted that.

Ash (Pokemon): He's so dim-witted and does such stupid, impulsive things, yet he ALWAYS wins in the end. He even gets to see and ride all the cool pokemon, while people who worked just as hard and deserve it just as much don't get to.
