Candy Land Film Being Planned

There's still the lawsuit over the character names that hasn't been resolved yet. But my excitement for this project died when the Tropic Thunder/Kung Fu Panda writers left. I really wanted to see Kevin Lima's vision. Plus Adam Sandler = travesty. I have to wonder, why is he so hot to do a Candyland movie? Sure, everybody wants a piece of that sweet billion dollar Hasbro merchandising pie.

Because a movie means a free vacation for him and his idiot friends. Check his roles in the past decade and see the locations they're shot. He picks what he does for a reason (and it has nothing to do with quality).

Hasn't he also admitted he does these films for the money? People still seem to be willing to go to them in spite of his awful track record (Grown Ups 2...I will never get over that movie beating out Pacific Rim)
