Cartoonito Nordic will celebrate Friends Week with new Care Bears specials for a week starting Friday, July 26th to Thursday, August 1. Premieres daily at 4:20p

If there is something weird about Cartoonito CEE, is how they have that NEXT bumper of "Cartoonito Minis" which they use right before most of the minisodes they air. The fact is that while the clip from the NEXT ident is taken from those Bleepers shorts, they ironically show it before everything else other than the actual Bleepers. They strangely NEVER show the "Cartoonito Minis" ident when the Bleepers shorts are about to be shown, as if they don't actually treat those as actual minisodes. Besides, usually they are used to air them right next to another series of minisodes, and they use the "Minis" NEXT only after the Bleepers are over.

I always wondered what is with that.

Nowadays, we in Germany also finally get the same fillers as the raw feed (as before, it acted like a subfeed without having any ads).
I can confirm that there are only a few hands full of different fillers, none of them being minisodes kind of stuff.

Nah, what I talked about is part of the raw feed of Cartoonito CEE. Minisodes are always part of the raw feed.

I won't make a separate post for the full Cartoonito Nordic schedule. The only schedule changes starting next Friday are that Care Bears: Unlock the Magic replaces Batwheels at 09:00 which still keeps it's 09:20 slot but now only airs one episode instead of three. Care Bears: UTM also replaces Masha and the Bear at 15:50 which loses it's double bill slot. Masha will keep it's 16:15 slot although now starts later.

Cartoonito CEE Schedule and Highlights for August 2024

- New episodes of Grizzy and The Lemmings, the first batch of the brand new season 4 (S4.1), start airing from 5th August. They will be shown daily at 07:00 CET, with reruns at 11:00 and 18:25 CET. Two 7-minutes segments will premiere each day (despite the slots having 3 or 4 segments). Only 13 new episodes will premiere, though, all until 11th August.
- New episodes of Mush-Mush and The Mushables (S2.2) start airing from 12th August, daily at 15:30 CET and with reruns at 19:30 CET. 10 new episodes will premiere as part of this batch, with two per day, all until 16th August.
- There will also be a Grizzy and The Lemmings marathon from 5th August, airing daily from 06:00 till 09:00 CET, inside which the brand new season will premiere. The block will go on thorough the whole month.
- The Tom and Jerry marathon (which will start on 29th July) will also go on through the whole month of August, airing from 16:30 till 18:00 CET everyday (with episodes of The Tom and Jerry Show, plus a T&J film occasionally). I initially thought this will be the marathon dedicated to Friendship Day, until I learned they already have such a block where the Care Bears specials are airing. Makes sense then to keep airing the Tom and Jerry block, even if they have two Summer line-ups at once (along with the Grizzy marathon).

There will be no other schedule changes this month, aside of the minisodes randomly getting on-and-off airings (as usual).

Cartoonito Nordic will also have the new season of Grizzy although here it starts August 19th. I figured they would save it to later as the Autumn season begins with school and everything during that time. Fitting. With new Mush Mush that won't be seen in August but since we now share the same highlights between each feed, I'm sure it will air in September. We've been mostly delayed anyway compared to you receiving the CEE feed.

Cartoonito Nordic already promotes Grizzy in advance. It's the CEE one. Also they finally have some text in the endboard outside of NY again. It's in English called "Grizzy & the Lemmings"

I see a lot of people, specifically Americans call the show Grizzly and the Lemmings too. So at the end of the day it's not a big typo. We'll see if they fix this. I'd be surprised if they do considering the feed gets more and more automated with barely any updates on the playout.

Well, he is a grizzly technically. So they probably didn't think much on it.

Like I said, the typo isn't bad. I think it was intentional for them to type Grizzly instead of Grizzy because like you said, he's a Grizzly Bear. Yeah, the real title is Grizzy but can also be easily called Grizzly. Americans always called it that when it aired on Boomerang. Anyway I don't care. It's not distracting my life.

Despite the Best Friends schedule block normally being over since today, Cartoonito CEE still played the NEXT bumper for that this morning, along with the intro ident, before Grizzy and The Lemmings at 06:55 CET as a mistake. They aired normal NEXT and station idents after that slot.

Probably because the playout wasn't updated in time. Meaning that files could have stayed.

Change: Grizzy and the Lemmings S4 already premieres next Monday on Cartoonito Nordic after being originally scheduled from August 18th. Seems that they finally noticed the CEE date and did the same now.
