It was interesting how despite Scott not being the main character they were still able to extrapolate some of his character arc/issues from the comic into the show.

Not as clearly, mind you, because they kind of breezed past his relationships with Envy, Kim, and Knives, but still.

Why on earth is it TV-MA? The only difference from the movie is you can make out a bit of the "f-" sound sometimes under the bleeps, but Netflix has certainly allowed that and more in TV-14s.

In addition to the (beeped out) language, the disclaimer for the series also points out depictions of smoking.

Yeah, it comes off as kinda dumb. And we've thought the movie ratings system was questionable...
