Yes, they've released some key art and a logline. But just today, it was hinted there will be a production update revealed at the start of next month. So maybe Part 2 will air in Japan late this year then mid-2024 on Toonami.Oh. There's another chapter to this?
It's suspicious he's the final villain of the series. They've given context for his turn and why he's doing it and sure the shoe fits but idk, there's still something about it all that still bothers me. I just can't point my finger on it yet. In a weird way, it's a very Eren thing of him to put it all on his shoulders and be obstinate about going through with the plan. It doesn't seem like a fake out that anyone else is in on. The interesting bit is the conflict has made the two opposing sides team up, albeit just a few out of survival instincts on the battlefield, like with Magath in previous episodes leading to the special but still, an alliance that seemed impossible to happen. So, Eren is a...uh...unaliving oneself genocidal maniac (sorry, not sure if it's cool to use the S word).
Well, I was referring to the Chapter 2 in the middle of the episode, but yeah.Yes, they've released some key art and a logline. My bad, lol. The nomenclature with these specials make me cross eyed. I forgot each special is 2 chapters.Well, I was referring to the Chapter 2 in the middle of the episode, but yeah.
So yeah, this may have been an unfortunately timed comment on my part (and it may have been an unfortunately timed day to air this episode for that matter) as the real world Morocco suffered a tragic earthquake this past weekend. I swear I wasn't trying to make light of it or poke fun or anything and my sincerest condolences go out to all those affected by the earthquake. So apparently Morocco exists in the AoT world.
Eren, as the Founding Titan, advances on Fort Salta with countless other Titans. Appearing before the refugees, who stand on the brink of despair, are Mikasa, Armin, Jean, Conny, Reiner, Pieck, and Levi, who narrowly escaped from the rumbling. The battle between former comrades and childhood friends with Eren concludes here.
