Well, he's fought Thor and most of the original Avengers, and been killed by Thanos...he's already faced some tough customers .

Wasn't Ulik and Enchantress rumored for this? They're probably the biggest Thor villains the movies haven't gotten to yet. I could see them in this.

8/15: I think it was Karnilla and Ulik. The rumor was in a lump sum article for all the series back in January-ish I think.

Sounds like they're planning for a series featuring a "tentpole" character, but that could definitely run a wide range of heroes...

I believe an article mentioned the proposed Obi-Wan series would be about the same length. If these series are replacing an film idea, then they really don't need to be 13 eps. Even if you think in terms of a trilogy, these A-List actors need a rest between shooting a series and then a few film projects.

Yeah, and another to think about it is they are the equivalent of a movie trilogy in terms of length, 6 hours, more or less.

EDIT: It appears a showrunner was hired for Hawkeye. Amy Berg mentioned she was in the running but lost out to whoever got the gig.

Reportedly, Matt Shakman (Game of Thrones) is in talks to direct for one of the Marvel/Disney+ shows. Possibly Loki or WandaVision.
