It’s over a month since the “new” channel launched; I already thought it was a mite over the top when they introduced it, but keeping it for so long is really an exaggeration.
Here some early (I assume; I didn’t watch the whole video but it must have been early on quickly looking at the promos) Toon Disney Scandinavia continuties:
Hverdage/r/Vardager = Weekdays (from before the MTOFLS banners were used)
The Pippi’s hair thing is just a form for promotion for the show.
More, from Christmas:
Probably its just for marketing reasons, since maybe not many viewers will be watching in the morning hours on a schoolday, they promote the reruns as “real” premieres.
But it doesnt really make sense, you could name both time slots in the promos, or just premiere the show in the slot which...
Hm thats weird, perhaps this was the print Disney has used earlier on some purposes (such as when they aired the show on Disney XD some years ago)? Still quite strange
Looking at your video the aspect ratio they used for the show is interesting; when DR1 aired it in 2022 it was in 4:3.
EDIT...
Thank you for uploading, the “new” branding looks pretty good :)
I never expected such a block to actually surface on modern days DC, but personally I think that they managed very well
Yes, and honestly it’s a smart decision to bring the block to DC, it was definitely something that had lot of audience, and then you can understand what led to it the team launching it on the channel.
As of currently it seems that the Nordic team
are also having advertisements for the channel...
I just realised how weird the DOG position seems: is it really floating in the middle of the screen like that through the whole broadcast?? ;P
EDIT: Ah, nevermind, I see here on the thread that it has been adjusted (thank goodness!).
I can’t understand how theyre late, seeing as this was supposed to be such a big thing lol… I hope it at least will finally relaunch before the afternoon, seems quite clumsy otherwise
That seems weird… so the solution for useless EMEA-directed promos is airing them in English on the Scandinavian tracks? I think that just made things more confusing, honestly.
Probably that promo was directed at the EMEA feed (?), which makes some problems when youre going to get a new feed few days after
Re Disney Sjov: This definitely surprised me, and I can guess that it’s something that will attract some more viewers (or thats what the management hopes, probably...
Looks great! It’s really good that they’re trying to promote the channel that much, they really seem to be stepping up their game
Edit: It seems that the feed will from 5. April continue the “Disney Sjov” tradition, a Danish Disney block (based on the “Disney Afternoon” block) which aired...
Egmont's Disney comic weekly in Denmark had an advertisement for Disney Channel in last week's issue, not anything special but it surprised me since I haven't seen any DC ads for years:
A person from Malta (according to his bio on YouTube and his many videos from the country) uploaded in February 2009 a Phineas and Ferb clip from a English-language version of the Scandinavia/PL/MEA Disney Channel (judging from the coming up next ECP), so at least Malta *possibly* could have had...
I don't know exactly, but honestly it wouldnt be too much a surprise for me if it closes sometime this or next year. The channel doesnt really seem to be too popular at least in Denmark, my provider Allente (a Nordic provider) removed the Disney channels last year due to low amount of viewers so...
Moonbug’s channel will launch in the Nordic countries starting from next month, via a deal with Nordic TV provider Allente

I agree completely, probably it will be fixed but it will be interesting to see how long it will go on. And you’re right, its definitely an accurate depiction of the current management.
Slightly off-topic:
A Toon Disney Scandinavia laughter promo (you can tell its Scandi especially from the...
Exactly!! :D
And especially since (well, last time I checked) the schedule shown on their official site is completely misleading for the average viewer
What happens when children come from school in a hour or two and the channel still has these problems?
Okay , maybe I'm exaggerating, since...
I dont have the channel anymore since the Nordic provider Allente removed all Disney channels from their offer last year; are the promos and so on the same as the EMEA ones as usual?
Indeed, some comments from anyone who also recieves the feed in the other countries would clear things up a bit...
Yes, I thought something similar too; it would be quite interesting if the other countries which get the feed also has this weird thing going on. If this simply is an error it would really seem that the DC EMEA’s management need to step up their game a bit, such an error can’t be going on for so...
